Diabuddies Camp 2017
Jan 16 - Jan 18
A great camp for 4 – 9 year olds with type 1 diabetes attending with a parent!
Camp provides a great opportunity to learn more about diabetes management, diet and exercise, meet other families with type 1 and have fun!
The action packed program allows children to try different sporting activities, create works of art and play exciting educational games. Parents can learn more about diabetes management and also join in the fun and games! All activities are optional and medical care is always on hand.
The camp is fully supervised by staff from Diabetes NSW & ACT, including a doctor, diabetes educators, dietitians, exercise physiologists and young adult leaders.
Where: Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation, Wakehurst Pkwy, North Narrabeen NSW 2101
When: Monday 16 January to Wednesday 18 January 2017
Cost: $100 per adult, inclusive of all meals and accommodation
Applications close 9 December 2016.
