Chai Tea Jelly
This is a simple yet satisfying recipe that can made as a healthy dessert or refreshing snack.
- 4 Tbs gelatin powder
- 800 ml almond milk
- 3 Chai tea bags
- 2 Tbs agave nectar (honey or rice malt syrup)
- Place 1⁄4 cup warm water in a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin powder over the water, and stir until dissolved. Set aside.
- In a saucepan, bring the almond milk to a simmer over medium heat. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags and agave and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Discard the tea bags. Stir in the gelatin mixture until combined. Pour into 4 serving dishes and let set in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
Light soy milk can be used as an alternative to almond milk.
