Health Information Session
8 December 2021 West Tradies 247 Woodstock Ave , Dharruk
Your health information session is an opportunity to discuss your diabetes with Diabetes NSW & ACT health professionals in a relaxed and supportive environment. You can ask questions, get advice and take home resources to help you better understand and manage your diabetes.
During your 60-minute appointment, you will have a brief one-on-one consultation with three health professionals from Diabetes NSW & ACT: a diabetes educator, exercise physiologist, and dietitian. Each health professional will spend 15 minutes with you to answer any questions or discuss any concerns you may have. Please note the information and advice is general in nature, and these sessions do not replace the education provided by your healthcare team (GP, Endocrinologist, other).
You can also bring along your blood glucose meter to have it checked for calibration and accuracy, and get practical tips on using your meter with our trained staff member.
For people living with all types of diabetes.
Please note the NSW Government requires that all attendees must have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine in order to enter the venue for this event.
