Insulin Pump Workshop

If you’re a little unsure about how to get the most benefit out of your insulin pump, or would to like to learn more about the features your pump provides, then this hands-on session is for you! This 3hr workshop will help you identify any fears or concerns when using your insulin pump, and provide key information to help you confidently look after your diabetes.

The practical skills session will include:

  • Insulin pump features and adjusting pump settings
  • Bolusing
  • Preventing and managing hypo/hyperglycaemia
  • Sick days
  • Infusion sets
  • Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM)

A light meal will be provided.

This program is not suitable for children under the age of 18, however parents are more than welcome to attend. No children under 18 are to be in attendance.

This program is only for people who are already using an insulin pump, or are just about to begin insulin pump therapy.
