Almost 70% of adults don’t get enough exercise. We all know it is good for our health, and it is especially important for people living with diabetes - but it can be difficult to know where to start or how to stay motivated. This workshop will support and empower you to take the first step in making exercise a part of your routine.
During this 3 hour session, you will:
• Learn about the positive effects exercise can have on blood glucose levels
• Identify what could be stopping you from being more active
• Write up your own step-by-step plan
• Receive a booklet with exercises that you can do at home with minimal equipment, so you can start adding small bits of exercise to your daily routine (or increase the amount that you already do)
