Ready Set Go Lets Move
18 February 2021 Grenfell Bowling Club Cross St, , Grenfell
Exercise—of course we all know it’s good for health, especially for people with diabetes. But knowing where to start and how to stay motivated can be tough. This is where this three-hour workshop helps. Get support and be empowered to take the first step in making exercise a part of your routine, or perhaps increasing the amount you are already doing.
During this session, you will:
- Learn about the positive effects exercise can have on blood glucose levels
- Figure out what could be stopping you from being more active
- Write up your own step-by-step plan of action
You’ll also get a booklet with exercises you can do at home with minimal equipment. So, don’t wait—get ready, set, go!
A light meal (basic sandwiches, tea & coffee) will be provided. If you have any food allergies or other dietary requirements please list them in the dietary section of the form below. We can cater for most special dietary requests, such as vegetarian and food allergies, however some limitations apply.
This program is for people living with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
We’ve implemented new measures to protect the safety and wellbeing of all attendees and staff at our diabetes education events.
