  • Where can I find my membership number?

    Your membership number is located on your membership card.

    If you can’t find it, or don’t remember your membership number, please call us on 1300 342 238 and one of our friendly staff will be able to help you.

  • How do I update or change my personal details?

    You can update your personal details any time by calling us on 1300 342 238.

  • How do I request a replacement membership card?

    Call us on 1300 342 238 and we will arrange for a new card to be sent out to you.

  • Are my donations tax deductible?

    Yes – all donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.

  • Will I get a receipt for my donation?

    Yes – you will receive a receipt for all donations over $2.

    When you make a one-off donation online, your receipt will be automatically sent to you via email.

    However, if you’re a regular donor making monthly donations, you’ll receive a tax receipt in the post at the end of the financial year.

  • What should I do if I don’t receive a receipt?

    If you don’t receive a receipt following your donation, please contact us by sending an email to and we’ll arrange for a receipt to be sent to you.

  • What will my donations be used for?

    Your tax-deductible donations will be used to challenge public perceptions about diabetes, advocate for people living with the condition and develop innovative ways of helping them.

    For example, we run media campaigns to provide accurate information to the public about the condition in order to reduce stigma. We host family fun days to connect children and families living with diabetes to a community that understands and cares.

    Kirsty, whose daughter Molly was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, explains it best:

It’s because of your generosity that they’ve been able to provide us with education programs, DiaBuddies Days, support networks and other initiatives for those diagnosed with type 1 and their carers, teachers and families as well.   • How do I increase the amount of my regular donation?

    Simply call 1300 342 238 to speak to one of our friendly representatives to make any changes to your regular donation.

  • What methods of payment are accepted for donations?

    There are a number of ways you can make a donation:


    You can make both one-off or regular donations online using your Visa, Mastercard or AMEX credit card. You also have the option of making a one-off donation via PayPal.

    Direct Debit

    You can set up a regular monthly donation online or over the phone using your credit card or your bank account.

  • How do I leave a gift in my Will for Diabetes NSW & ACT?

    Before leaving a gift in your Will to Diabetes NSW & ACT, we suggest you seek advice from an estate planner or legal practitioner to ensure your Will addresses your particular circumstances, assets and wishes.
