Please help kids like Molly

Molly was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes after being rushed to hospital last year. She says the worst thing about diabetes is having to prick her finger five times a day to test her blood glucose levels. We can’t change that, but with your support we can help her cope and live well. Molly and her family have benefited from the services we provide, like family fun days to help them connect to others who are experiencing the same worries. Molly has made a good friend who understands what she’s going through – because she is living with diabetes too.

“I'd like to thank all the supporters of Diabetes NSW & ACT. It's because of your generosity that they've been able to provide us with education programs, DiaBuddies Days, support networks and other initiatives for those diagnosed with type 1 and their carers, teachers and families as well. Without those initiatives we wouldn't feel as supported and you have certainly changed our lives for the better so thank you.”
